The "baby sister" of an old friend of mine from high school (aka, my brother Daniel's high school girlfriend.*wink,wink*) saw that I was looking for a warm and toasty winter coat for wearing in Ukraine. Look what arrived in the mail on Saturday!

I have no doubt that the coat and the hat will be very useful! Tracey had a hard time keeping her ears warm those last days in Kyiv so she got a scarf to wrap over her ears. This was atrocious to our teenage daughter though as she thought that only babuskas did such a thing ;)
What a great friend you have! You'll definitely use the coat and hat a lot in Ukraine!
